This form allows you to share details about the project, provide photos or videos to give us an idea of what you have in mind and tell us about your budget and timeline. Once we receive your form, we'll reach out to you to discuss your project further and provide you with a free estimate. We value transparency and clear communication, and we believe that this first step sets the foundation for a successful renovation project.
Step two: Discovery Call
Once you've filled out the form on our website, the next step in the Contigo Group 5 Star Process is a discovery call. We believe that this step is crucial to ensuring that we're the right fit for your project. During this call, you'll have the opportunity to speak with one of our design and build specialists. We'll discuss your project in more detail, including your budget, timeline, and specific needs. This call also gives us a chance to explain our process in more detail and answer any questions you might have. At Contigo Group, we believe in transparency, and we want to make sure that you have all the information you need before making any decisions. While we're always eager to take on new projects, we'll let you know if we're unable to take on your project due to our current workload, the size, and scope of your project, or the project location. However, we'll do our best to provide you with guidance and support to help you achieve your renovation goals.
Step Three: Consultation Scheduling and Payment
To schedule an in-home consultation with Contigo Group, clients are required to fill out a form using the link provided: https://www.contigogrp.online/contact. Once on the page, clients will be able to select a preferred date and time from available options. Following the selection, the client will then be prompted to make a payment. The payment is required to secure the consultation slot and confirm the appointment. The form and payment process is designed to be simple and efficient, allowing clients to easily schedule a consultation and begin the process of improving their home.
Step Four: Home Consultation
At Contigo Group, we believe that every successful remodeling project starts with a comprehensive site analysis and property assessment. That's why our team of remodeling specialists will work with you to conduct a thorough evaluation of your property to get a better understanding of the type of space you want to create. During the assessment, we will review your plans and begin the process of envisioning a design that will complement your home and refine your personal aesthetic while staying within your established budget. It is important to note that our design retainers start at $1500 and may increase based on the complexity and details required for your project. Additionally, most projects require a set of working plans before quotations for work can be provided. Our goal is to confirm the accuracy of the information gathered during the discovery call and to ensure that we have a clear understanding of your vision for your space, so that we can create a design that meets and exceeds your expectations.
Step Five: Design Retainer and Agreement
At Contigo Group, we understand the importance of the design phase when it comes to remodeling projects. That's why, after fully understanding your vision for your dream space, we proceed to creating a 3D rendering and construction prints of the design. This phase is crucial to the success of your project, as it serves as a key component to estimating, permitting, production, and overall satisfaction with your new living space. Once the design retainer agreement is signed, we require a design payment which will be in the form of a check. We recommend considering this payment by the time of the home consultation so that the retainer agreement can be signed and paid for at the consultation, expediting the process and allowing us to get to work on creating the space you've been dreaming of. Our team is committed to ensuring that every detail of your design is captured accurately, and we work tirelessly to ensure that the end result exceeds your expectations.
We understand that some clients may choose to work with an architect or design firm outside of our company. In such cases, we encourage clients to ensure that construction prints are provided to us. Having these prints in advance means that we can jump right into scheduling the project and getting to work as soon as possible. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality results and ensuring that every detail is captured accurately in the construction prints. Whether you choose to work with us or with an external architect or design firm, we will work with you to make sure that your project is completed on time, within budget, and to your complete satisfaction.
Step Six: The Design Process Begins
We understand that a successful remodeling project requires a comprehensive design process. That's why we have developed a three-meeting process with our clients. During the first meeting, our team will measure the existing areas to be affected by the new project, gather information about the proposed project, and review any images or sketches provided by the owners. Based on this information, we will develop a design concept that captures the owners' vision for their space.
In the second meeting, we will present the design concepts to the owners using drawings that include floor plans, exterior views, interior overviews, and/or interior "picture views" as needed to express and confirm the design concept. At the end of the presentation, the owners will have the opportunity to review and provide feedback. We will then confirm details and product specifications and/or allowances as needed to generate a written proposal for the project, including a preliminary budget based on the design concept presented.
In the final meeting, we will present the final concept plans reflecting the owners' comments. We will also provide a detailed written proposal based on the project design and specifications established in the second meeting. The total cost of the project will include the cost to complete construction plans, which will be ready for permit approval. Final plans for permit and construction will be completed after acceptance of a construction contract. Our team is committed to ensuring that every detail is captured accurately during the design process to deliver a successful remodeling project that exceeds our clients' expectations.
Step Seven: Pre Construction
Before beginning construction we need to obtain the necessary permits. Obtaining permits for construction projects can be a complex process that requires various documents to be submitted. Some of the key items that are generally required for most projects include construction prints, a property plat of survey indicating where the new build will be located, and proof of contractor insurance and bonding. Additionally, permit fees must be paid to the relevant authorities. It is important to note that specific townships or subdivisions may have additional requirements, such as obtaining approval from homeowners' associations or submitting additional documentation. As such, it is crucial to work closely with your contractor to ensure that all necessary permits and documents are obtained before starting construction.
The next step is Project Scheduling. During the scheduling process, we work diligently to prepare your project for a timely execution. This involves finalizing the material list, scheduling material deliveries, and assigning crews to your project. We understand that clear communication is key to the success of any project, which is why we will also schedule regular check-ins or calls to keep you updated on the progress of your project and address any questions or concerns you may have. Next we will have a Pre-Construction Meeting. During the Pre-Construction meeting, the team will introduce themselves to the client, review project details, and address any questions or concerns. This meeting is an opportunity for the client to meet the person in charge of the project and have their contact information for any updates or questions that may arise during construction. The goal of this meeting is to provide peace of mind to the client and ensure them that they are in good hands. It is important to note that any changes made after this meeting may require a change order and could result in changes in the project's price.
Finally, before we can begin the construction, we must wait for the Material to be Delivered. You can expect a date of arrival for your material at the time of the Pre-Construction meeting. Please be aware that depending on the available space, we may need to make adjustments, such as moving cars or furniture, to ensure that the materials can be properly stored. Once your materials arrive, we will carefully check through them to ensure that your order is complete and that the materials are not damaged.
Step Eight: Construction Begins
Communication during this phase is key to ensuring that the project is completed to your satisfaction. Your project manager will be your main point of contact throughout the construction process. They will keep you updated on the progress of your project and answer any questions or concerns you may have. We recommend that you communicate any changes or adjustments you would like to make to the project as soon as possible to avoid delays or additional costs. Remember, our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the finished product.
Step Nine: Project Wrap-Up
Completion and Clean up: After we complete your new space, we want you to enjoy it to the fullest! You'll see us cleaning up and packing our equipment as we finish your project. Our goal is to leave your space as clean as possible, delivering a completely finished product.
Wrapping up your project: As the construction process finalizes, we will schedule a project walk through with you to ensure you are beyond happy with your new living space! At this time we will walk through your project and make sure all the boxes are checked on your project checklist.
Once you are happy with your living space we will ask for your signature confirming your satisfaction.
Step Ten: Post-Project Check-in
At Contigo Group, we are committed to ensuring our clients' satisfaction with our services. To that end, we schedule a one-year touch-up visit as part of our guarantee. This visit is aimed at addressing any minor issues that may have arisen since the completion of the project, ensuring that our clients' space continues to meet their expectations.
